This is a page dedicated to the day my mum gave birth to me!
I was born on 24th October (the day after my mums 22nd birthday & my parents first wedding anniversary) It was 2.10am and i weighed 6lb 11.5oz and had gorgeous blue eyes and was very alert (and im embarrased to say poo'd inside mummy & on her tummy straight after being delivered)
My mummy had a homebirth and was in labour from 11.30pm on the 22nd oct,so i was a long time coming. I was delivered by 2 midwives names simon & helen (my mummys & daddys names, how weird is that?)
I went straight to the breast & camped there for about half an hour till they took me for my 1st bath!
I ended up with quite a few people watching me be born,my daddy was there & the 2 midwives, obviously! Also there was my Mammar,my auntie Tami (who is training to be a midwife!) and my auntie Wendy who was constantly up and downstaires fetching my mummy bowls of ice LOL
When they realised i had poo'd inside mummy simon called for an ambulance but when it arrived they didnt have the equipment needed should i have swallowed any poo so they called for a second ambulance so all together there was 11 people pass through the room then i arrived and that made a dozen!Luckily my shoulders had blocked all the poo behind me & i was perfectly fine!
I hope you like my pictures? happy browsing!
Me with my Mummy,Daddy,Simon & Helen, they are 2 BRILLIANT midwives & my Mummy will be eternally grateful to them, my auntie Tami was amazing too, helping Mummy in the final stages before pushing & keeping Mum cool, relax & reassured (which is very important) everyone else were great too, urging my Mummy on to push & just for being there & making my arrival EXTRA special! It was a night my Mummy & Daddy will never forget, mummy says 'amazing people were in the room when i gave birth to another amazing person' Aaawwww
